Opal Evolution Festival: Celebrating the Eromanga Sea
As part of the ongoing Opal Evolution project in Andamooka, this workshop will focus on:
 Costume Making: Backpack-based costumes, characters, portable inflatables
 Masks and Headdresses
This workshop is open to everyone in our community, regardless of age or skill level. Whether you’re a senior, a youth, a school kid, a sewer, a crafter, or simply someone with a passion for creativity and community arts projects, you are welcome to join us.
Tony Hannan is a sculptor and maker who works with communities to create giant puppets, parade floats, banners, and flags. He teaches many skills, including lantern making, stilts, inflatables, fire murals, and articulated fire puppets. Location: Andamooka Primary School, Community Library
All participants aged eight years old or under must be accompanied by an adult for the entirety of the workshop.
