Last Sunday evening, we gathered under the outback stars for a special screening of ANDAMOOKA in Andamooka, projected on the iconic outside wall of the Tuckabox Hotel as part of the Opal Evolution Festival.

The evening was made even more special by the presence of the film’s crew, who returned to Andamooka after five years to reconnect and share behind-the-scenes stories from the production process.

Special guests Mara Jean Quinn, Danni Ogilvie and Anthea Hilton graced the screening, adding a touch of star power, while local legend Nugget, who appears in the film, walked the red dirt carpet with pride.

The screening was also a heartfelt tribute to the late Staffy, another cherished Andamooka local who appeared in the film. It was an emotional moment that resonated deeply with those who knew and loved him.

The response from the Andamooka community was overwhelmingly positive. It was a beautiful evening celebrating the film and the people who made it.

A big thank you to everyone who came out to support the event and to everyone involved in making the night one to remember!
