Leila’s recent noodling treasures made Woomera’s ‘Gibber Gabber’ front page, 25th January 2024 Edition. We love the ‘Gibber Gabber’ and their marvellous efforts in promoting the Andamooka Opal Fields. The Andamooka Opal Fields begins at the junction of the Stuart Highway A87 to Alice Springs and the Olympic Dam Highway B97 to Woomera, Roxby Downs, and Andamooka.
The Andamooka Opal Fields include Pimba, RAAF Woomera Range Complex, Woomera Prohibited Area, Roxby Downs, Arid Recovery Reserve, BHP Olympic Dam mine, Olympic Dam Airport, Andamooka, Kokatha Lands, Lake Torrens National Park, Stuart Creek opal diggings, Arcoona Station, Stuart Creek Station, Mulgaria Station, Roxby Downs Station, Purple Downs Station, and Andamooka Station.
