Rafida and William stayed overnight at the Andamooka Opal Showroom Underground Opal & Mineral Museum . We went mining (they dug some potch out of the wall and noodled a bit of colour), feasted and hydrated at the Tuckabox Hotel, visited Karkaroo: the opalsied baby Andamooka Plesiosaur’ and opal displays at the Andamooka Opal Showroom Underground Opal & Mineral Museum, the AO Bookshop and our German Gully Opal Mine (Andamooka Mars Simulation Camp).
