Forty plus BHP crew came over for Opal Mining 101 Lesson @ our German Gully Opal Mine (Andamooka Mars Simulation Camp). We called in the BIG GUNS!
Peter ‘the Oracle’ Taubers from the Andamooka Opal Showroom Underground Opal & Mineral Museum gave the Andamooka Opal Mining 101 tour and answered a lengthy Q&A session.
We noodled the surface and under blacklight after dark and had lots of great chats from inquisitive minds about the opal industry and all things opal. Great bunch of people and we warmly welcome you back!
