International Observe the Moon Night (14 September) is a NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration-led global initiative. Again, this year, Andamooka Observatory is excited to participate in the event! It’s a unique opportunity to explore lunar science, participate in celestial observations, and honour cultural connections to the Moon.
The Australian Space Agency Discovery Centre is hosting an ‘Observe the Moon Night’ event in collaboration with Central West Astronomical Society Inc. Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium Woomera Observatory (featuring special guests from Andamooka Observatory)
Each partner location will provide live commentary during lunar observations, with Andamooka Observatory sharing exclusive insights!
