The feature film Andamooka (2024) is now available to stream at home — and it arrives after a truly unforgettable local premiere.
During the 2024 Opal Evolution Festival, Andamooka’s own film icon, Nugget, lit up the BIG screen at the Tuckabox Hotel during a special outdoor screening of ANDAMOOKA! Fans were treated to one of the movie’s standout moments featuring Nugget delivering a memorable line: don’t miss it when you watch the film online!
The film was projected onto the outside wall of the Tuckabox Hotel, transforming it into a open-air cinema under the desert sky.
The night was made even more special by a reunion of the film’s crew returning to Andamooka five years later to share behind-the-scenes stories. Special guests Mara Jean Quinn, Danni Ogilvie, and Anthea Hilton joined locals for the celebration, while Nugget proudly walked the red-dirt carpet, embodying the spirit of the town.
The screening also included a moving tribute to the late Staffy, a beloved local who appeared in the film. His presence and memory were warmly honoured by the community.
